Focus on your Relationship with your Teenager
and get it back on track before school starts.
It’s been a long winter and it hasn’t been easy with your teen.
Maybe you’re barking at each other almost every day. Or barely speaking.
It's draining but you kept going. You've been telling yourself to hang on and make it through the school year. You're almost there...
And then what?
Summer is approaching, along with longer days and a more open schedule.
Claim the space for you and what you really want to focus on to be able to enjoy a closer connection with your teen.
How it Works
In this inward-focused program, you concentrate on that parenting problem you’ve been stumbling over and develop new skills that will have you interacting with your teen in a new way. Feel more confident and at peace with your parenting approach.
PERSONAL - You’ll have 5 private coaching sessions online during the summer.
FLEXIBLE – you pick the times and dates that work for you.
DOABLE - In between our sessions, you engage in short daily practices (10-20 min) that sharpen your awareness and hone your new capabilities.
FOCUSED – Put your attention and intention on that one thing you want to shift in your parenting.
TANGIBLE GROWTH - You start responding differently in those previously impossible situations and building a new relationship with your teen.
What’s the main thing causing friction between you and your teenager?
That one thing that you keep doing and wish you could stop?
You know what you'd like to be able to do instead, right?
Let’s make that happen.

You should know that I'm not going to be the right coach for you if you want to "fix your kid". This is about your personal development and becoming the kind of parent you wholeheartedly want to be.
1. Could I fit this around my vacation?
Yes, absolutely! You choose the dates and times for ALL of your sessions. For best results, they should be approximately 2 weeks apart. Other than that, go ahead and create a schedule that really works for you.
2. Does my teenager need to be on board with this?
No. This is your own process of discovery and developing something new in yourself. Your new way of parenting will emerge gradually, one interaction at a time, in a way that feels natural to you and your family.
3. How much time do I need to devote to this?
You will engage in practices that take about 10 minutes per day and answer some reflective questions each week, which will require at least 30 minutes. Since you're in an intensive, you may want to give it more of your time and take a deeper dive. That's up to you.
4. Couldn't I just do this on my own?
Maybe but I'm assuming there's a very good reason that you're here and you've read this far... When we’re shifting a way of parenting that’s not working anymore, it’s difficult to see our role in the problem objectively and self-compassionately. And being able to release it and move forward is even harder. That's where I come in - to guide and support you until this change is really "in" you.
Also, when you’re doing it on your own, it can be slow, two steps forward and one step back. And when it comes to our relationships with our kids, there really isn’t time to leave those problems to simmer and hope they work themselves out. You want to face what’s going on. You want to focus your inner work so you can get your relationship to a more solid, respectful, loving place.
